There is more to finding a job than a great job market. You have to know where to start! In this section, you will find a list of resources available to help you find employment in Canada.

 

You might need to polish up on your skills or learn some new tricks to help you find the job you want such as writing a resume and cover letter, answering interview questions, and more.  But don't worry!  There are a number of places you can go for help when searching for employment.

 

There are many free resources available that will help you in your search for meaningful employment in Greater Sudbury.  We've listed a few below to help get you started!

 

 

My Job Board is a free online service provided by mysudbury.ca, where employers can post job vacancies and review resumés, while job seekers can post their resumés and respond to opportunities.

 

 

If you're looking for a job, look no further than the YMCA Employment Services!  They've got the right people and programs to help you move your career in the right direction.

 

 

The Sudbury Vocational Resource Centre helps people in the community to find employment.  If you are new to the Sudbury area and out of work, they can help you.

 

 

Service Canada is operated by the Federal government and offers a number of services for individuals seeking employment, including career counseling, resume and interview assistance and student services.  Their services will help prepare you for the job market. It also helps individuals in obtaining a temporary work permit as well as a post-graduate work permit for individuals who want to search for employment opportunities in Canada upon graduation.

 

 

Levert Personnel Resources Inc. is Northern Ontario’s largest personnel resources firm, specializing in providing general workers, skilled workers and trades people to Canadian businesses.
