The Art Gallery of Sudbury was established in 1967 as a Centennial project of the Sudbury and District Chamber of Commerce. Originally operating as the Laurentian University Museum and Art Centre, the gallery was renamed in 1997 and housed in a turn of the century mansion. Local history and contemporary works of art come together in the lush surroundings of the Gallery grounds. |

The Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario's first endeavors were highly visible extra-muros events where artists took to the streets and to the landscape. As the only artist-run centre in Sudbury, the GNO serves other francophone artists such as poets and musicians as well as anglophone artists, many of whom are associate members. |

Myths and Mirrors Community Arts is a non profit multi-media arts organization based in Sudbury. Their belief is that people should have meaningful opportunities to contribute to the creation of justice, beauty and health in their communities collectively through art. Their new site, Victory Playground on Frood Road, showcases the ‘Earthly Matters’ mural. |
