Ottawa, July 30, 2010 — The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, issued the following statement regarding the racist graffiti left in a Richmond, B.C., shopping mall parkade on July 21:

Toronto, July 29, 2010 — An educational project to commemorate the internment of Italian-Canadians during the Second World War will receive federal funding, Senator Consiglio Di Nino announced today, on behalf of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney.

London, July 27, 2010 — The Government of Canada is providing $170,000 over two years for a program designed to help ethnic youth-at-risk integrate into our community by pairing them with mentors from the London area.

Toronto, July 27, 2010 — The Government of Canada is providing $300,000 over four years for a program that provides learning opportunities for participants from ethnic communities to increase their knowledge and understanding of Canada and help raise civic participation, Colin Carrie, Member of Parliament for Oshawa, announced today on behalf of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney.

Ottawa, July 13, 2010 — Special immigration measures designed to help reunite Canadians with family members affected by the January earthquake in Haiti have been a clear success, according to Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney.
